Let me just say that I recently returned from a Caribbean cruise with my husband's family. Let me also say that I broke every single dietary rule I have and enjoyed the incredible cuisine this cruise had to offer. Let me also say that it was worth it.
Is that bad?
I'll be a better PKD patient, I promise. Starting....tomorrow.

It's hard, because when "regular" dieters go on vacation their mantra practically becomes "it's okay, I'm on vacation." It's much harder for us though.
But then again, sometimes it's worth it. :o)
Sounds fun! I love cruise food. My mom didn't even know she had PKD until about a year before she started dialysis.... so you're still in a way better position than that! On that note, I'm nervous, I get tested in a couple of weeks.
Well, my mantra is "If I eat that, my foot will fall off" so I tend to not eat the crap even when I'm on vacation. We'll see how AG goes, though.
